Acacia honey
Clear, delicate and soft in flavour, acacia honey is a lovely choice for anyone who prefers gentle sweetness without a powerful finish. It may be almost colourless or pale straw, while its floral aroma is subtle and never intrusive.
The “acacia” that is botanically a black locust
In Poland, acacia honey usually means honey made from the nectar of Robinia pseudoacacia, commonly known as black locust. This variety also crystallises very slowly and can stay liquid for a long time. When it eventually sets, it generally turns white or pale yellow.
Delicate enough to let other flavours shine
Pair it with yoghurt, fruit, light desserts, pancakes or a mild dressing. It can also sweeten a drink when you want a subtle result without hiding the drink’s own aroma.
